Part 1

You In
The Equation

By Josh & Hollie
  • When a loved one is struggling to thrive, you as a caretaker may desperately reach for anything that you can to help them. You may look to friends and family and other outside sources to fill this void. But, what if you are reaching for something that can be found inside of you? What if some of your biggest struggles with your loved one are simply because of things you don’t know about yourself? You in the Equation is an invitation to help your loved one by diving deep into how you and your loved one communicate, how he sees you, and how you subsequently see him. We will show you how to heal past personality programming problems that keep you from having a healthy connection, and will provide you with fresh ideas to shift the paradigm in which you relate and react to each other.
Details
  • The inability to communicate is at the core of every disconnected relationship. Words can create distance when all you want is clarity. So, how do you talk to your loved one without a discussion turning into a fight? How do you understand what your loved one is really trying to say without jumping to assumptions? Communication can seem daunting to conquer. In Cracking the Communication Code, we help you take on that challenge by providing you with the tools to dissect how and where you and a loved one disconnect in conflict. We will show you what to say—and what words will deepen your connection.
Details
  • Struggling loved ones usually feel very little connection to their loved ones at home. Because of an innate need to feel loved, appreciated, and accepted, loved ones can turn elsewhere to fill what is missing. When this happens, loved ones can live in a culture of disconnect. In Creating a Culture of Connection, we ask the question, “What is a healthy family culture?” We provide examples of families with a healthy culture—families that repeatedly produce individuals who are thriving. We also provide examples of families who are constantly at odds with one another and the world at large—an unhealthy family environment. We will help you take a deeper look at your family culture, providing ideas and suggestions on how to shift, change, or add to it in the hopes that you can help to discourage a loved one from a family disconnection.
